My goal in this instance was to capture the pleasant ambience of the seating area near the monitor, which is defined by the tile and ceiling detail, while showing the openness to the adjacent classroom and the outside, and doing so in a way that closely matches what the eye sees, rather than what the camera captures (which is quite contrasty). One challenge with this image had to do with the color of the light; the light coming in through the windows was bluish, while the interior light was yellowish. I balanced the colors during post-capture processing.
