Office reception areas that open to the outdoors can be particularly challenging to photograph because of their extreme range of values, from brilliant sunlight to deep shadows. HDR to the rescue! Some five different exposures were combined to capture this high-dynamic-range scene convincingly, as the eye sees it. And a very wide-angle lens was able to show the key design elements of this space, including the ceiling detail, and give a sense of how people move through this space and down the hall to various offices.
