Wright-Patt Credit Union has been "personalizing" its branches by displaying large prints of images of local landmarks that are recognizable by their clientele. In this case, the landmark is a broad panorama of the renovated downtown area ("the circle") of Troy, Ohio. To make this image, I had to shoot in the early morning to avoid looking directly into the sun, and I shot at six different angles, then digitally stitched them together in post-processing. One of my challenges was to work around the constant stream of traffic, which required making multiple exposures at each angle, then "cutting and pasting" the vehicles out of the image. |
