For more than 150 years, downtown Dayton has been graced by this elegant neoclassical structure, which was renovated under the artful guidance of the architect. My job was to communicate its seriousness of purpose and richness of detail, while giving the viewer a sense of its context. The building itself is a work of art; through sensitive control of light and composition, my goal was to create an image of it that, in its own way, was a work of art.
